New Haven Public School Teachers Complete Yale Program

NEW HAVEN, CT - Thirty-five New Haven Public Schools teachers have completed the Yale-New Haven Teachers Institute's 2026 program. Since 1978, the Teachers Institute has offered its distinctive and pioneering brand of content-based professional development to New Haven teachers. Teachers named Institute Fellows participated in one of our seminars led by Yale faculty and developed a curriculum unit specifically for their students. All Fellows received a University ID card, borrowing privileges at University libraries, and access to campus facilities and resources. Throughout the spring, they attended their seminars, as well as talks and workshops. Fellows' curriculum units, which they will teach to their students this coming school year, are published on our website.
