DEVELOPING A GENEALOGICAL HISTORY
Get Ready
!!! You are going on a Generation Journey. On this journey you will meet distant relatives just by traveling down memory lane with your parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts, elders, or some family friend who may have known your family well. This is an enormous project. You’ll find exciting details about how you trace your heritage in the United States and even back to your homeland. Hopefully, you will learn about your family origin. I suggest that you purchase two notebooks, one for the family of the husband and one for the family of the wife. Make sure you pack all the things you might need; your notebooks, camera, tape recorder, camcorder, writing utensils and a whole lot of passion to uncover your family’s rich and exciting history.
