This unit examines a major element in family structure, economics. It is designed to give students knowledge about family finances and to improve their math skills for use in everyday life. The unit will be taught to seventh and eighth grade middle-school students. It can be taught to students on a high-school level, and would be especially useful for those who are getting married after high school.
