Connecticut is a state of vast resources, one of which is its legends. These legends may be used as a teaching tool for 6th grade students who are studying Connecticut history as a major part of their social studies curriculum. The study of Connecticut history is made fun and interesting by expanding and enhancing it through the method of reading.
