Language Arts/Writing Standard 2
Students read a wide range of literature from many periods in many genres to build an understanding of the many dimensions (e.g., philosophical, ethical, aesthetic) of human experience

Responding to Literature
Students will recognize that readers and writers are influenced by individual, social, cultural and historical contexts. Students will explore multiple responses to literature.
