This unit was developed as the first part of a three-part multidisciplinary unit on marine mammals. This part of the unit focuses on dolphins and whales in mythology through a multidisciplinary approach combining science, art, and literatures A slide show and script that were developed to accompany this unit may be borrowed from the Yale-New Haven Teachers Institute Office.
This can be used in two ways, One, in its exact form as part one of a larger unit on marine mammals or, two as template for teachers to develop multidisciplinary units with other subjects as a focus.
