The students will be guided through a number of scenarios so that they determine what level of collateral damage they can accept as consequences of their work. They will then write a code of ethics that will allow them to prevent consequences that they find unacceptable.
The final activity is for the student to compare and contrast the code of ethics that they have created, to that of the Society of Professional Journalists.20
