American Immigration
Objective
The student will investigate the forces of American immigration and the development of the nation.
Introduction
The students will discuss their country of origin and other ethnic groups of people that they are aware of in the community.
Activities
The student will read text and teacher made materials on immigration and the effects immigration has had upon United States history.
The students will make up 5 to 10 questions each. These questions will be used for a Social Studies bee.
The student will choose a book on his reading level to read. The student will hand in a written report and give a short oral presentation.
