Warren McC!esky, a black man was convicted of two counts of armed robbery and one count of murder. His victim was white. He was sentenced to death in the Georgia court. The Georgia Supreme Court affirmed the convictions and sentence. U.S. Supreme Court affirmed the convictions and sentence of the lower courts.
