The author looks at several pieces of Kipling’s works, including the short story that is the focus of this unit. Especially helpful if the teacher chooses to use other works by Kipling.

This book is not recommended for students to read, however, particular portions are appropriate if read to the class. The reading is easy, particularly if one has some background on the subject.
