I. Sandra Fenichel Asher’s prize winning play, A Woman Called Truth, will be studied and performed. The one act version will be perfect for my students.
II. Vocabulary: suffrage, sojourner, chronic, foreboding, emancipation, utopian, liberal, oratorical, advocate.
III. Selected students will find information on Frederick Douglass to present to the class.
