Hersh, Seymor m., Cover-Up:
The Army’s Secret Investigation of the Massacre at My Lai

Hersh was the reporter who first broke the story of the My Lai Massacre for which he won a Pulitzer Prize. In this book he documents the tragedy and its aftermath.
Film
Hearts and Minds
is a documentary film which describes U.S. attempts to win the support of rural villagers of Vietnam by giving medical and technological aid to the villagers. I strongly recommend the showing of this film, it is however, quite expensive.
