Web page designers can do a great deal to ensure universal access to their sites. First, however, designers must be made aware that many users have very special needs. Individuals may be blind, visually impaired, physically disabled or have difficulty processing information. All these barriers prevent disabled individuals from gaining full and easy access to websites.
Accessible websites are sites that can be read by everyone whatever means is comfortable for them. Accessible websites do not need to be dull or unattractive but instead can be fully accessible with dynamic designs that provide not only content, but also visual appeal.
